Subscription Policy

How Roohy subscriptions, renewals and cancellations work.

Last Updated: November 2, 2026

This Subscription Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and explains how subscriptions to Roohy are sold, renewed, cancelled and refunded. Words defined in the Terms of Service have the same meaning here.

1. Your subscription at a glance

What a subscription gives you

Roohy is offered on a subscription basis for a fee, and your subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. By purchasing a subscription you agree that the applicable subscription fee will be charged at the beginning of your subscription period and again on each renewal date until you cancel.

A subscription is purchased directly from us on our website. Where we make a subscription available for purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that purchase is processed by the relevant store under its own terms and policies.

The subscription periods we offer are set at our discretion and may change from time to time: a period may, for example, run for 4 weeks, 12 weeks or 24 weeks. The period that applies to you, and every other applicable term, is shown on the payment page, so please read that page carefully before you buy.

The price and where you see it

All relevant and applicable fees are stated clearly on the payment page. We may charge any of those fees in a single transaction or in several separate transactions.

Prices may vary depending on your region and on other factors, so please always rely on the price shown on the payment page rather than on any price you have seen elsewhere.

Trials, discounts and special offers

From time to time we may offer discounted plans that renew automatically at the full, undiscounted price once the discount period ends. Such offers include, without limitation, introductory offers made when you set up an account and take out your first subscription with us.

We may also offer temporary promotional discounts at our sole discretion, including special pricing for first-time users, and we may offer a trial subscription. The duration of a trial, its price (if any) and the subscription fee that will apply after it ends are shown before you start it; the fee charged after a trial offered at a reduced price may be higher than the trial price and may be charged for a different billing period than the trial. We are under no obligation to offer trials or promotional offers and we do not guarantee that they will be available.

Add-ons and other extras

Alongside your subscription you may be able to buy add-on items, such as premium content or supplementary features. An add-on may be a one-time purchase or a recurring charge, and the fee and the terms that apply to it are shown to you before you confirm the purchase. Cancelling your subscription also cancels any recurring add-on linked to it, while cancelling an add-on on its own leaves your subscription running.

2. Paying for your subscription

When money is taken

Payments are charged to the payment method you provided at the time of purchase on the payment page. You authorise us, or our third-party payment processor, to charge the applicable subscription fees automatically to that payment method on each renewal date until you cancel your subscription.

Who handles the payment, and extra bank charges

You authorise us to provide your payment details to a third-party payment provider for the processing of your payments. Your credit or debit card provider may apply currency conversion fees and other processing fees to your payments.

Where a subscription is purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store, or the entity it designates, collects the price, charges the payment method registered in your Apple ID or Google Play account and issues the receipt. We do not receive your payment details, and the terms and policies of that store apply to the transaction alongside this Policy.

If a payment fails. If a renewal payment does not go through, for example because the payment method has expired or has insufficient funds, we may retry the charge and ask you to update your payment details. If the problem is not resolved, we may suspend or terminate your access to the Service.

3. Renewals, and how to stop them

How renewal works

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each subscription period until you cancel it. To avoid being charged, cancel your subscription before the end of the then-current period.

Please note that deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

Where a subscription was purchased through the Apple App Store, Apple may require you to cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Where it was purchased through Google Play, cancellation takes effect provided it is completed before the next payment is taken.

Cancelling, step by step

To cancel your subscription on our website or in the Roohy App (iOS or Android):

  • Open the App or log in to your account on our website.
  • Go to “Profile”, then to “Settings” in your account.
  • Open “Manage Subscription”.
  • Select “Cancel subscription”.
  • Confirm the cancellation (“Confirm Cancel”).

Additional screens. Before your cancellation is completed you may see additional screens, for example an offer to switch to a different plan. You are free to skip them and finish cancelling as you intended.

You may also cancel your subscription by contacting us at support@roohy.com.

Where a subscription was purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, it is cancelled in the subscription settings of your Apple ID or Google Play account.

Your access once you have cancelled

If you cancel, your right to use the Service continues until the end of your then-current subscription period and then ends, without further charges.

When we may end your subscription

We may cancel your subscription if you fail to pay for it, if you violate our Terms of Service.

4. Getting your money back

Payments for purchases made on our website are generally non-refundable unless the conditions of our Money-Back Guarantee are met, or unless a refund is required by applicable mandatory law. Please review the Money-Back Guarantee to understand when a refund may be available.

Nothing in this Policy affects any refund, withdrawal or other remedy to which you are entitled under mandatory law, including the right of withdrawal available to consumers resident in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, which is described in our Money-Back Guarantee and in the Terms of Service.

Where a subscription was purchased through the Apple App Store, refund requests are handled by Apple under its own policy. Where it was purchased through Google Play, refunds are subject to Google’s policies and you may request one from Google directly.

The Money-Back Guarantee covers your first subscription period only and does not cover one-time add-ons.

5. If the price changes

We may modify subscription fees at any time to the extent permitted by applicable law. Where notification is required by law, we will notify you of any pricing change in advance; where no specific timeframe is prescribed by law, we will give you at least 14 days’ notice by email or by in-app notification.

If you do not agree to the updated fees, you may cancel your subscription before the new pricing takes effect. If you do not cancel before the new pricing takes effect, the updated fees apply to your next renewal.

6. Getting in touch

If you have any questions about your subscription, please write to us at support@roohy.com.
